Mandrowe Waterfall South Nias

25 meters high, 20 meter width, Mondrowe waterfall keeps pouring water to river stream below it. Cold and fresh, the water is still pure. Strip lining rocks, trees and fresh air around the small ponds below the waterfall, Mondrowe waterfall, is a perfect natural decoration bathtub.

Mondrowe waterfall is located in Hilisao’oto village, Sidua Ori subdistrict. It is very close with Tete Gewo village, where the megalith site takes place. Hilisao’oto village, can be accessed from Teluk Dalam by land route; both by car or motorcycle, it takes about one and half hour.

From the main road of Lahusa –Gomo, there will be T junction, turn right then continue about 250 meters to reach larger space to park the vehicle.

To reach the waterfall, visitors need to continue trip on foot, hiking a 10 meters stiff rock ladder then go down to the hill to reach the natural bathtub in Mandrowa village.
